Rotorworks has the helicopter maintenance completed with a Contract AMO (Aircraft Maintenance Organization). Our AMO is Northwest Helicopter Services Inc and it is run by Darcy Cornock. Northwest Helicopter Services is on the Whitecourt Airport and when we have our helicopters in for maintenance our students are able to have a look at what takes place for various inspections.

There is usually other aircraft having maintenance done so we are able to have a look at the different systems that they use. It gives Rotorworks students a better understanding of the air-frames, engines and systems that is a requirement for the helicopter pilot course and for operations. Darcy and Murray Keats are very good about explaining the operation of the helicopters when we have questions.
