Rotorworks students are seeing the industry in the area of Whitecourt as they work at their flight training. The work over the last couple of weeks has included the oil and forest industries.
The logging industry has been burning the brush piles left from the summer harvesting programs. This removes the waste from the cut-blocks so they can be replanted without at lot of abstacles.
The Oilfield is busy at the moment with Drilling and Stimulation Programs. The attached pictures show a well being having a stimulation job done. The area is north of Whitecourt in the Carson Creek area.
